According to Kia, the 2010 Rondo will still be available at showrooms, but there has been no confirmation of a 2011 model for the U.S. market.

Hickory Kia Dealers pointed out the Kia Rondo website currently greets visitors with a message indicating its demise:

“Thank you for inquiring about the Rondo. As the saying goes, ‘all good things must come to an end.’ But with endings, come new beginnings…”

Kia’s MPV/compact minivan has faced slowing sales over the past few years. According to KIA Dealer Orange County, in 2008, the Rondo sold 28,645 units and just a year later only managed to move 14,206 units.

While the Rondo may be on its way out of the lineup, Kia still has family-friendly offerings such as the all-new 2011 Sportage crossover. But for customers that still want the versatility of the Rondo MPV, now is the time to check it out. Current incentives include $2,000 cash back, $1,000 for a competitive vehicle turn-in, $1,000 for Kia owner loyalty, and/or a $500 discount for military service.
