On the heels of the distinctive Soul crossover, Kia has released the all-new Forte. As a competitor to compact mainstays like the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla, the Kia Forte had to bring plenty to the table if it wanted to make it in this competitive segment, and it seems to have succeeded.

The Kia Forte’s styling is not as polarizing as the recently released Soul, but that’s not a bad thing according to customers at Cerritos Kia. The Kia Forte has a clean design that will certainly appeal to a wide audience. In addition to good looks on the outside, the Forte is also easy on the eyes inside. With a tasteful two-tone interior color scheme, high-quality materials, and excellent fit and finish, the Forte’s interior has a somewhat up-scale feel to it. Despite its compact dimensions, Car Dealers In Wallingford CT say the Forte’s interior also provides ample room, more so than the Civic. Even the back seats provide comfort for full-sized adults.

Powering the Kia Forte is a 2.0-liter four cylinder engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Drivers can expect about 30 miles per gallon in mixed driving conditions which should appeal to plenty of potential buyers. Although the Forte is not powerful, it should provide plenty of peppiness compared with others in its class. But with 23 mpg city and 31 mpg highway, Bristol Mazda admits that the Forte will deliver competitive fuel economy, even though it will still fall short of the upcoming Mazda2.

The Kia Forte is clearly an indication that the Korean automaker is focusing more on design and quality in its latest batch of new vehicles. Although the design is a bit conservative, the Forte is certainly stylish and a level of maturity that is lacking in the competition. Plus, with a long list of available features, the Forte delivers a far more luxurious look and feel than others in this segment, which should help the Forte standout with relative ease.
